1) I’ve never watched any Terminator movies.
2) I’m not fond of violent or scary movies.

But I actually enjoyed the movie. It helped that Christian Bale was one of the leads. Although, I wasn’t sure it was quite the right part for him. As everyone is alluding to, he seemed a little too “Batman”ish.

I also thought the premise was interesting (being a newbie to the Terminator scene), the rival main character was fascinating and lovable, and the special effects were great.

Thought it was violent, it was definitely something I could handle.
The movie was overall a pleasant surprise.
