Personal Finances – October 2009

I didn’t have much success at either investing money or putting some away this month. There were two birthdays in September that raised my credit card bill a bit higher than normal, I renewed my subscription to Xbox Live, and I bought Halo 3: ODST
.
I might be buying an LCD TV soon, because the power button on our old school TV in the living room, was pushed in and no longer functions. We’ve been leaving it on so we don’t have to struggle with turning it on and off. No, we don’t have a remote for it. It’s a perfect excuse for me to finally get an HDTV. I definitely won’t be saving up much in the next month or so.
The holiday season is going to be more of the same with little to be saved, and much to be spent. I’m looking forward to the holidays, but my pocketbook isn’t.

I was told that the cookies that were brought in to work were Kosher. I have later found out that the cookies that were offered to us were not Kosher. I feel that you are responsible. You should be held accountable for your reckless behavior. What are you going to do about this? I have ate a rectangle slice of chocolate chip cookie with no frosting that was not Kosher and I am now feeling ill for it.
