Fantasy Portfolio – March 20

The past week to two weeks has given Wall Street a huge rally! Stock prices have jumped up and the Dow was up around $1,000 since hitting a low around $6,400.

The downside is all the stocks are becoming overbought. This means that there are less buyers out there than there are sellers. The big investors and especially traders bought when the market was low and are now looking to make a profit since it has risen over the past week.

I used that strategy over the past couple of weeks and have almost broken even with my portfolio while the Dow is still down 18% since the year began. My dividend stocks are providing me with enough cover to be able to speculate with tech names like Apple (AAPL) and Cisco (CSCO) as well as Capstone (CPST). Taking the 10% profits in trades from each of them has helped my portfolio tremendously.
