Fantasy Portfolio – April 10

Another mostly stagnant week for my portfolio and the stock market. Since last Friday, the Dow only gained a little less than one percent. My portfolio dropped around half of one percent. It comes with the territory when you hold stocks that are recession resistant.

I am looking at picking up some shares of a gold stock, such as AEM, that would hedge my position in case we encounter some inflation in the near future. In case the rallies we are having are for real, I might add some stocks that are due to rebound in this stage of the industrial cycle.

Dividends from T were paid to my account as well, which minimized some of the loss I took this week. I just wish I could get a better chance to buy so I could gain more passively.
